Video Responses - Primary Audience Research

I have asked a member of my class to do a video response to get honest and clear opinions on ideas for my trailer and poster, this has allowed me to understand the target audiences requests within a horror film and will be able to include these within each of my medias, therefore creating a successful trailer and poster for my horror film.

Poster
1. Do you like the video recording effect with in the Paranormal Activity poster?
2. Is the Paranormal image scary enough to use for a horror poster?
3. Do you like the blue lighting effect on the Paranorml Activity image? Does it fit the mood?
4. Does the phrase "don't watch it alone!" add any effect to you when reading? any particular emotion?
5. Does the font blend in well with the overall poster? could it be changed?




Magazine Cover
1. Do you like the layout of the magazine cover? main image over powering the title?
2. Do you think the skyline is appealing to the audience?
3. Are the sell lines something you want to see in a film magazine? persuading? interesting?
4. Is the main image to big for the magazine cover? would you change it?
5. Do you like the colour combination they have used on the main cover? or would you chose a different colour selection?
